Brandy releases the visual for her “Long Distance” track while Freeway kicks off his “Month Of Madness.” Joell Ortiz get’s Immortal Technique to help with his “Modern Day Slavery” video while Tony Yayo releases another video, this one called “Preach On.”
Today’s new videos in rap & hip-hop include a Whoo Kid interview with Snoop, a Lupe Fiasco interview and Freeway talking about his month of madness. Check out T.I.’s spot on NBC, Joe Budden wanting to go home after a long tour and Shawty Lo discussing the fight with TIP. Speaking of T.I., check out a video of TIP giving back on Thanksgiving while The Game continues his tour in Africa. New music from Lil Wayne leads today’s audio followed by a remix for Kanye’s “Say You Will” featuring Tyrese. The Game has a “Laugh” while Jay-Z releases “Brooklyn” the first song from the soundtrack to Notorious. Busta Rhymes enlists Diddy, Akon, T-Pain, Lil Wayne, Swizz Beatz and Ron Browz to remix his “Arab Money” single while Lil Wayne also helps Jadakiss for his “Deathwish.” T.I. and Snoop Dogg team up to “Act Like It,” Jamie Foxx is a “Superman” and Cee-Lo helps out Common. Nas drops “Something Foul,” Cassidy asks “Where The Cass At” and Rick Ross remixes Kanye’s “Heartless.” Check out the snippet of “Flight School” a new track from GLC featuring Kanye West and T-Pain plus a new song from Redman called “Lay You Out.”

| The new film on Biggie Smalls called "Notorious" hits theaters on January 16th but the soundtrack for the movie will hit stores three days earlier. Check out the cover for the album, click the thumbnail below!

| | December 01/08 | Akon Hates Traveling, Trial Delayed, New Busta Remix | 
| Akon's "throwing a fan" trial has been delayed, as it was pushed back to December 17th. Trial stems from the incident last year in which AKon allegedly threw a teenager into the crowd during his performance at the "KFest" in Fishhill, New York at the Dutchess Stadium. Akon plead not guilty to endangering the welfare of a minor and second-degree harassment. The court date will decide whether the Konvict will goto trial.
In related news, Akon recently had problems traveling overseas. “What I hated this year…Of course when you travel, the traveling ain’t as comfortable as it used to because the politics played such a big role,” Akon told XXL. “The United States ain’t as loved as they used to be. In certain territories we got treated a little harsh because we had U.S. passports, but thanks to Obama we gon be able to fix that," Akon finished.

| | December 01/08 | T.I. Fends Off Beyonce To Land Number 1 | 
| On Thanksgiving Day, T.I. started his fifth week at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with "Live Your Life" featuring Rihanna. TIP does have competition though as Beyonce is close behind jumping from 28th to 2nd with "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" after selling 204,000 digital downloads. Beyonce also holds the number 3 spot with "If I Were A Boy" while T.I.'s other single, "Whatever You Like," dropped from number 2 to number 4.
Other notables on this weeks charts include Kanye West and his "Love Lockdown" moving from number 9 to the 6th spot and Ne-Yo's "Miss Independent" moved from 11 to number 9. Akon's "Right Now (Na Na Na)" dropped two spots to land at number 10.
