    Out promoting his new album, L.A.X., The Game performed his hit song “Dope Boys” on The Jimmy Kimmel Show with Travis Barker plus appeared on MySpace TV. Nas also hit the TV circuit by performing on David Letterman while Joe Budden talks about his new album. Asher Roth & Beanie Sigel hang out at the Magic show in Las Vegas while Bun B hit’s up the Democratic National Convention.

    50 Cent drops a freestyle over the “Here I Am” beat while Lil Kim shows off her freestyle skills over the “Put On” beat. Ne-Yo puts out three new tracks including “Fade Into The Background” from his new album ‘Year Of The Gentleman.' Finishing up today’s audio is a new track from The Lox called “It’s Like That.”

August 28/08   Kanye West Rocks The Democratic National Convention
Kanye West
    Kanye West took the stage this morning at the Democratic National Convention in Denver and rock the crowd by performing his hits like "Touch the Sky," "Home" and "Stronger." West went on to perform two new songs that focused on relationships and politics, that he claims he just wrote in the past few days. Kanye expressed his happy yet saddness saying "It's an incredible time to be around. I wish my momma could have seen this day."

    Kanye performed at a party sponsored by U2 lead singer Bono's ONE acti-poverty campaign. The party had many big names attend including actors Forest Whitaker and Ashley Judd and Jamie Foxx. Foxx also took the stage with Kanye and later said "We make history, man," continuing, "With Obama, we make history. If you ready for Obama, make some noise. Yo man, let's do this for Obama."


August 28/08   The Game Charged With Battery For Fight At Family Funeral
The Game
    The Game has officially been charged with criminal battery by the Hawthorne City Attorney for the alleged punching of his cousin at a recent family funeral. The reported altercation was about money and The Game's relative called the cops before their family member was even buried. Game is already on probation for a firearms charge and if he is convicted of battery a judge could revoke his probation and send him to prison.

    In related news, The Game is doing a lot of press for his new album, L.A.X., that hit stores on Tuesday.
