According to gossip website TMZ.com, Gucci Mane was arrested after his probation officer noticed he had an active warrant out for allegedly throwing a woman out of a car.
Rapper Gucci Mane was arrested in Atlanta this morning for allegedly pushing a woman out of a moving vehicle back in January … TMZ has confirmed.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, Gucci was routinely checking in with his probation officer … when the P.O. noticed the rapper had an active warrant out for his arrest for allegedly pushing a woman out a moving vehicle back in January.
Gucci was arrested on a misdemeanor battery charge.
Gucci — who is still on probation stemming from a 2005 aggravated assault conviction — could be in even more trouble … because officials tell us the new allegations could constitute a probation violation.
The rapper is currently being held on $5,000 bond until he faces a judge tomorrow. (TMZ)
