After a three week ordeal with the legal system, Gucci Mane was finally released from jail today. The legal struggles of the 1017 Brick Squad Member have been chronicled throughout the media over the last several weeks.
After being arrested for assaulting a fan, Gucci posted a $75,000 bond and was released from Jail, only to be arrested a day later for a probation violation. It seems that after the release, Gucci did not report to the court.
Well, today the rapper was released from jail yet again. He was released earlier today, May 2, 2013. The case for assault is still pending and the rapper is due back in court later this month.
There was a rumor that Gucci shared a cell with fellow Brick Squad artist Young Scooter during the time that he was incarcerated, but that could not be verified through any trustworthy sources.
Gucci has plead not guilty in the pending assault case. At this point, there have been no indications that a plea deal is on the table or that Gucci would be willing to accept a deal.
