| July 03/09 | Joe Budden Says Lloyd Banks "Fell The F*ck Off" |
| Joe Budden continues to be Joe Budden, meaning saying whatever comes to mind about whoever comes to mind. Sittinig next to his friend, producer Dough Boy, Budden brought up G-Unit member Lloyd Banks. "I wanna do a song with Lloyd Banks," Budden revealed in a live blog chat on Friday (July 3) afternoon.
Budden then added comments in which he was half dissing and half praising Banks. "I gotta get him, pause. Yeah, that's what I want. I think he's ducking me. I think Banks was dope and then he fell the f*ck off and then he got right back up. So personally, for me, I would want to do a song with him. Nah, he don't got no personality. I'd have to see if I could tear him up [on a record]."

| July 03/09 | Drake Blames MJ For BET Performance Mishap |
| Ever since he performed at the BET Awards with Lil Wayne & Young Money, Drake (along with BET) has been getting a lot of negative feedback. Performing "Every Girl," a song about escapades with multiple girls around the world, Drake appeared with under age girls on stage.

Drake says their performance was effected by the last minute changes due to the death of Michael Jackson.
[watch here] "That, actually -- to be honest -- was a terrible idea that I'll never do to myself again," he said recently.
[watch here] "But I was being pressed from different areas to perform, and I think what really happened at the BET Awards is with the passing of Mike, the climate really changed, as far as the award show goes. I don't think it called for us to perform "Every Girl" and "Always Strapped," and I think it was an award show filled with tributes and music and these genuine heartfelt speeches. And to sort of climax out of a very tongue-n-cheek point, and then people misconstruing Wayne's daughters and her friends coming out on stage -- it was just timed very poorly and it definitely wasn't planned like that, but with that being said, it is what is. I believe in Wayne and myself and it's nothing we can't bounce back from. To anyone who was offended, my personal apologies, it wasn't intended to offend anybody." [watch here]

| July 03/09 | Eminem Becomes One Of The "Funny People" |
| Eminem will return to the big screen when he makes an appearance in the upcoming "Funny People" movie. Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, 40 Year Old Virgin) is directing the new film that stars a never ending list of top comedians like Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Jason Schwartzman and even Jonah Hill. Sandler plays George Simmons, a comedian who learns of his terminal, inoperable health condition which causes him desire to form a genuine friendship. Sandler takes a relatively green performer (Seth Rogen) under his wing as his opening act.
"No. Marshall Mathers is in it," Apatow said when asked if Eminem was in the film. When asked how it was to direct the "8 Mile" star, Apatow said "I was scared to pitch jokes to him then I realized his songs are as nasty as anything that has ever been spoken. There is no way to offend him."
