Rapper Ja Rule recently spoke about his upcoming "Renaissance Project" and how he feels the album will help fix the past issues he had with women.
"This album, there's a lot of female-driven records on the album. I think my female audience is really going to enjoy this album. Don't get me wrong. I got shit on there for the fellas, too. But, for me, it's not about that. It's about making good music. If it's hot, niggas is going to like it just as much as the chicks."

Rule is also currently filming a new reality television show that is based on his family. Ja recently spoke about the series, along with new record label, during an interview with RuleYork.com
"My reality show, I like it because it's really showing a strong Black family going through a tough time and how we band together as a family...It's really a good show. It shows Black love in a good way."
"I'm not going to change what I do," Rule said of Renaissance. "I make records based on what I'm feeling at the moment, or whatever. I experiment. I make all different kinds of records... I just like to experiment with the music and play with different sounds, different flows and just different ideas."
