Jamie Foxx and Will Smith have both been asked about possibly playing President-Elect Barack Obama in a new movie. Big Willy expressed interest in the role saying he was honored the President-elect had indicated that he would like Smith to play him if his life story were ever to be made into a movie. Will says "If I am ordered by my commander in chief to star in a film about him, I will do my duty as an American."

Jamie Foxx didn't say he wanted to play Obama exactly but did seem excited at the upcoming events telling US magazine "He's going to do his own movie for the next four to eight years. It's going to be incredible. Just the way he talks. He never gets excited, even when he was going back and forth with Senator McCain. He never raises his voice, he makes everything cool. That's what changed about me. I want to be cool -- I'm Barack right now."
