Jay-Z recently teamed up with Madison Square Garden for a documentary on their partnership and shows, backed by Absolut Vodka, called "NY-Z". Detailing Jigga's bond with the most famous arena, the new documentary is 15 minutes long and is directed by Danny Clinch. "New York, New York, is my foundation, it's the center of my growth, it's the muse for my art," Jay-Z says in the clip. "It's where I grew up. It's the thing that I have a lot of pride in."
Following HOV as he prepares for the release of his new "Blueprint 3" album and his September 11th show at the Garden, which featured guests like Mary J. Blige, Diddy, Kid Cudi and John Mayer. John Mayer says he was so moved by Jigga's "D.O.A." that "Very few songs that come on the radio today make me curious," he explained in the clip.
