The "Empire State Of Mind" book recently described the success of Jay-Z's business ventures and some of his lesser-know failures. The new book describes how Jigga went from a street hustler to a legit businessman, earning more all ceos (except seven). First getting into Rocawear and how a failed business move birthed the idea for it.
Although his failures are less know, the book gets into how he had a deal with Chysler car company to create the "Jay-Z Jeep," and how it failed along with another deal with GMC's Yukon for a "Jay-Z Blue" painted vehicle.
"He doesn't want to be seen as anything other than victorious…Even Jay-Z fails, but that doesn't make him any less of a businessman."
