Jay-Z Faces Several Stiff Requirements To Become NFLPA Certified

Posted By on April 17, 2013

Based on a recent report by NBC Sports, Jay-Z has learned that he may be facing a higher degree of difficulty than he initially expected in his latest endeavor. The Hip Hop icon has launched a new venture to build a sports agency. In this endeavor he desired to actively recruit NFL players. In order to do this effectively, the rapper will have to become NFLPA certified. What this means is that the NFL Players Association must approve and certify the rapper.

Before the NFLPA can do that there are a few requirement that the rapper must meet. The first is that he must pass an admissions test. If Jay-Z should pass the admissions test, he must then contend with the task of convincing the association to waive the post graduate degree requirement.

If Jay-Z is able to convince the Players Association to waive the post grad requirement, then he will have to deal with the added scrutiny and presumptions that he received special treatment.

On the surface, it does not seem that these new challenges are derailing the rappers desire to move forward in this endeavor, he has already began working with New York Giants Receiver, Victor Cruz

Many of those that are closely involved expect the end result to be that Jay-Z gets what he wants. Do they have reason to believe anything to the contrary?
