Jay-Z Close To Sharing A Label With Beyonce

The rumored deal between Jay-Z and Sony is reportedly almost done. The new partnership will bring Jigga's new Roc Nation label to the home of his wife, Beyonce. Inside sources say the deal "is 95% complete" and the formal announcement is expected to come within a few weeks.
One thing that is known for sure is that Jay-Z did not want to release his upcoming "Blueprint 3" album through Def Jam. "He definitely didn't want to release his album via Def Jam," said a Universal Music source. "And given his close relationship with (Sony executive and producer) Rick Rubin, it comes as no surprise that he'd make the switch."
Kanye West recently talked about the upcoming album in an interview with MTV. "He’s just been working on it, and it’s gonna be amazing when he drops
it. I think it’s good he’s taking his time to give people the best
product possible and not being rushed by this fast-food, media-outlet,
Internet, everything-is-getting-leaked, people-stealing
your songs before you can mix them and put them online world we’re
living in right now."
