The famous Palladium venue will reopen in Los Angeles on October 15th and the legendary spot has enlisted Jay-Z to be the opening act. Touring giant Live Nation signed a deal to lease and operate the venue back in April of last year and has since invested millions into renovating the historic place once home to artists like Frank Sinatra.

Jay-Z recently signed a $150 million dollar deal with Live Nation that included albums, branding and of course, touring. “I’m honored to play such an iconic venue,” Jay-Z told the Los Angeles Times. “Just as Frank ushered in a golden era, I hope this opening will mark the beginning of a resurgence in generation-defining live music.”
