Jay-Z’ Announces Blueprint 3 Tour Dates

Posted By on September 8, 2009

Jay-Z recently announced a tour to support his upcoming "Blueprint 3" album. The tour will take Jigga across North America and even make stops in Canada. Kicking off on October 9th at Penn State, the tour will make 20 stops before wrapping up in Austin, Texas at the Frank Erwin Center (although it's reported there will be more dates announced later).

Beyond the twenty dates, Jay-Z is set to perform at a sold out concert titled "Fuse Presents JAY-Z Live from Madison Square Garden: Answer the Call" on September 11. The show is aimed to raise money for New York Police and Fire Widows' and Children's Benefit Fund, a charity created to support the families of police officers and firefighters who have died in the line of duty. After that, Jay-Z will rap at least five concerts in Europe.

The third installment of Jay-Z's Blueprint album series, "The Blueprint 3" is slated for September 11 U.S. release. It is aimed to follow up its predecessors "The Blueprint" (2001) and "The Blueprint²: The Gift & the Curse" (2002).
