Jay-Z's new "Blueprint 3" album looks like it will not only debut number 1, but the album is projecting to sell around 300-350,000 copies in its debut first week. The first release on Jigga's new Roc Nation label will beat out Reakwon's "Only Built For Cuban Linx Part 2" album which is projected to push around 55-60,000 units according to HitsDailyDouble. Based on one-day sales figures, the numbers do show the market going up 8 percent from last week, although it's still down 7% compared to the same week last year.
In related news, Jay-Z was recently in Chicago to promote his new album and decided to drop a freestyle before performing "Mars vs Venus" and "Hate," two tracks from "The Blueprint 3" album. [Jay-Z Freestyles & Performs BP3 Songs Live - Watch Here]
