    Jay-Z recently confirmed reports that he and Alicia Keys have been selected to perform their hit "Empire State Of Mind" at Game One of the Major League Baseball World Series tomorrow (October 28) in New York where the Yankee's will take on the Philly's. "The Yankees are fantastic," Hov said in a new interview. "I'm from Brooklyn, Brooklyn-born, New York City so I grew up a Yankee and thank God for making me a Yankee. [laughs] 'Thank the good Lord for making me a Yankee.' Once in a lifetime experience, for me, growing up a Yankee fan so to be on the field and perform and specifically the song in New York is tailor-made for the city. Jigga says his college tour was an effort to reach people he usually doesn't get to play for before he talks at a possible following tour with Jeezy.
