As we reported yesterday, Jay-Z recently headlined the Glastonbury Festival. Although Kanye West wasn't there, he did make the headlines as Amy Winehouse called Kanye “a c*nt.” Jigga wanted to play the peace maker saying “I don’t agree with [what she said],” but he continued, “He’s my brother and the biggest artist on Roc-A-Fella right now. I guess I should hook them up, because he’s a great guy, too. I don’t know what the problem is. I don’t know where that came from.”
Jay-Z explained parts of his performance also. As we reported Opening up with a film that used Oasis's Gallagher's now infamous comments and a montage of clips parodying him, he then launched into an acoustic rendition of one of Oasis's biggest hits, "Wonderwall" [watch here]. Jay explained the performance saying “That’s my sense of humor,” he said. “I have a sense of humor like a Brit, so I thought people they would appreciate that. [He] was one of the biggest detractors [against my appearance] so I figured it was a cool way to start the show.”
