While on the tour, the Brooklyn-bred MC reportedly met with children and families who suffer daily from the water crisis who are among the more than one billion people worldwide and do not have access to safe drinking water.
In support of the documentary, MTV's website think.mtv.com will offer a comprehensive resource to educate young people about the world's water crisis and provide additional information on the epidemic. Individuals can log on to learn how they can help through donating their time, money and raising awareness of the issue.
"Diary of Jay-Z: Water for Life" airs on MTV2 on November 19.
