Jay-Z recently opened another 40/40 Club in Las Vegas, even though his New York location had had a few problems. Now the Las Vegas spot is experiencing lots of issues and the former employees are speaking out. The Las Vegas Weekly is reporting that since the club opened back on December 30th of 07, over a 100 employees have been escorted off the property or resigned. Some employees even have gone public using their MySpace accounts or speaking out on TMZ stating such claims as on-the-spot, mid-shift terminations without investigations, threats, degrading treatment, use of the n-word by management, and a complete lack of preparedness.
The club manager, Ramon Mata, has broken silence stating "As with all new businesses, you find out in your first few days of operations what staffing levels are needed," he said. "We adjusted accordingly and followed all rules and regulations in terms of employees that were let go."
