Rihanna Brings Jay-Z Under Her Umbrella For MTV Movie Awards

Rihanna will bring out Jay-Z for her recently announced performance at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards, while British singer/songwriter Amy Winehouse has also been enlisted for a set of her own.

Rihanna will perform her new single, "Umbrella," from her forthcoming CD, Good Girl Gone Bad, due in stores June 5, alongside Jay-Z. Good Girl Gone Bad is the follow up to Rihanna's sophomore CD, A Girl Like Me, which spurred two back-to-back number one singles, " S.O.S." and "Unfaithful."

Winehouse, who is slated to perform her hit single "Rehab," from Back to Black, for the first time on a live broadcast in the US, recently reflected on the songs she wrote for Back to Black including "Rehab" in Entertainment Weekly's "Summer Music Preview" issue (Out Today).

"The songs I wrote on the album are from when I was so messed up in the head, I had literally hit… not rock bottom, since I'm sure I will sink lower at some point," admits Winehouse.

The "2007 MTV Movie Awards" airs live on June 3 at 8 p.m./7c from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA. Log on to mtvmovieawards.yahoo.com for more information, including presenters, award categories and viewer's choice voting instructions.

Winehouse married Blake Fielder-Civil on May 18.
