Posted By on February 4, 2013

“So So Def “ Founder and CEO, Jermaine Dupri’s financial woes have been well documented. He was levied with a $3 million tax lien by the IRA in 2008 for failing to file tax returns from as far back as 2006. He has a another tax lien almost totaling $500 k that had accumulated substantial interest that he was able to settle in early 2012. He has faced foreclosure on his Atlanta Mansion at least twice in the past 6 months.

Well it seems that Dupri’s financial woes may be coming to an end or at least they are being mitigated. According to a report from TMZ, Dupri has paid the $3,095,004.65 tax lien that was levied on him in 2008. All signs currently point toward a recovery, at least partially.

Dupri is currently revving up for the So So Def 20th Anniversary Show. The show will take place this month in Atlanta and will feature some of the original artists such as Da Brat, J-Kwon, Jagged Edge, Anthony Hamilton, Xscape, and more.

There is even a stage reunion scheduled for Kriss Kross. It is not yet been determined whether Bow Wow will be a part of the reunion. It would be hard to see the anniversary take place without the boy-wonder being a part of it, but a lot of that will depend on his current relationship with Dupri. The show will take place on February 23, 2013.
