Diplomat's own Jim Jones recently spoke about how much confidence he has in his group's lyrical skills and therefore their upcoming reunion album. Despite not having a set release date yet, Jim Jones feels positive about the songs they have made since getting back together.
"The feeling is a great feeling to get back with your brothers," Jones said in an interview. "When we separated, we definitely felt the strain amongst all of us. The music was secondary compared to the brotherhood and the love. So we're back full speed ahead…It was a great experience to be able to work with Dr. Dre. I can't really explain it, it's one of the highlights of my career, very fulfilling…You can expect to hear that classic Dipset, but even better. We've come back with a refreshing sound. We grew up and grew apart. We all did things on our own. And we all got better with our craft, each of us." (The Fayetteville Observer)
