Last Week, there was a video released of Joe Budden confronting Consequence concerning certain comments that he and Jen “The Pen” (his girlfriend) made during a radio interview.
During an interview with Joey Jumpoff of Shade 45 Sway in the morning, Joe Budden was asked why he allowed Consequence to go off the way he did before addressing the issue in the first place.
“I gave him the opportunity to say anything he or his wife had to say to me. … I just wanted to see what was up with him,” he said. “I wouldn’t have taken it very far at all, where we were. That’s just not smart. But I’m prepared to take care of it.”
When asked about his current standing with his “Love & Hip Hop” co-star, the New Jersey Rapper said that he is not harboring any ill will towards him but that the issue came as somewhat of a surprise. “I don’t invite him over for Spades or anything like that,” said Budden. “I would like to think that we have an understanding, but I mean I thought that prior to that conversation. So I always think that everything is cool until I have to find out things aren’t cool via radio, via media. Hopefully we won’t have issues.”
Budden just released his album “No Love Lost” featuring the single “She Don’t Put It Down”, which features Lil Wayne and Tank. “No Love Lost is Budden’s third straight retail album.
