Rapper/Slaughterhouse member Joe Budden recently stopped by New York’s Hot 97 and discussed his battle with addiction and life on VH1’s reality hit “Love & Hip Hop”.
“That’s been me since ’97,” Joe Budden said during an interview with Hot 97. “I’ve never been secretive about that. It’s all over my first album…I have no quarrels about it. I’m comfortable with mine. The cameras, the TV, none of that, that doesn’t change what’s really happening for me.”
Budden went on to discuss the impact being the show has had on his music career:
“None at all,” he said. “None that you’d be able to monetize. My last album did really, really, really, really well, but to be able to gauge what effect the show had on that…I would assume the visibility always helps when you have 4 million people watching you weekly.”
