Joey Bada$$ made a name for himself at a very young age and due to his success, wasn’t able to finish up his senior year of high school. Although he didn’t graduate at Edward R. Murrow High School, he has not forgotten about them and decided to donate over $10,000 to buy instruments and production equipment for the music program.
“Following a very successful event in partnership with the J Dilla Foundation and Akomplice Clothing, Joey raised over $10,000 selling unreleased music and exclusive clothing. He decided to donate the full amount to his former high school, buying instruments and production equipment for the Edward R. Murrow’s music program.
Joey actually visited the school to pass on the equipment and good news, reconnecting with old teachers and watching a performance from the band. You can watch it all go down below.” (HNHH)
