According to multiple reports, Kanye West was sporting over $300,000 dollars in jewelry during his performance at the BET Awards 10 last weekend. Jacob & Company created the custom-made link chain, and charm, which depicts the Egyptian god Horus plus a four-finger pyramid ring. Both items were made from 24k yellow gold and the chain came with a 'larger than life' price tage for about $300,000.
In related news, Kanye took to his blog to post about his chain and pyramid ring. "Horus is one of the oldest and most significant deities in the Ancient Egyptian religion, who was worshipped from at least the late Predynastic period through to Greco-Roman times. Horus served many functions in the Egyptian pantheon, most notably being the god of the Sky, god of War and god of Protection," he wrote.
