Kanye West recently debuted his new song "Love Lockdown" by performing it live on the MTV Video Music Awards [watch here] and now details on his new album are coming out. Retailers like Amazon and Target are reporting that the new album called "808s & Heartbreak" will hit stores on December 16th.
T-Pain was quoted in a recent interview that he has been "going back and forth" with Kanye in the studio over the past few months saying "He'll call me to his room; I'll do a hook for him," T-Pain said. "I'll
go back down, probably make a couple beats. I'll call him down: 'Yo, do
a verse for me real quick.' He'll go back up; he'll make something,
call me back up."
Def Jam has yet to confirm the title or the release date and rumors have started that Kanye may not have enough material ready for the release. Sohh.com quotes a source that says “Ye is a perfectionist" continuing, "He expects nothing but
