Update: Kanye Calls Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift appeared on ABC's "The View" this morning and of course she was asked about the incident with Kanye West at the Video Music Awards. Although Kanye posted on his blog that night, and said it on the Jay Leno Show, that he would like to apologize to Taylor personally, she says she hasn't heard from him. Update: The View is reporting that immediately after her appearance on their show, Kanye West did call Taylor Swift. "After the show he spoke personally to the country music superstar via telephone and has apologized to the 19-year-old singer. She has accepted Mr. West's apology. The contents of the phone call are to remain private," a rep said. Soon afterward, Swift told ABC News Radio: "He was very sincere in his apology and I accepted that apology."
