Kanye West is already getting outrage from others over his “Jimmy Kimmel Live” appearance this week. West touched on a lot of different subjects and the paparazzi was definitely one he had touched on. During the interview Kanye warns the paparazzi that he will retaliate if he feels like they have gone out of line.
The attorney who represents the photographer that West attacked this past summer, Gloria Allred, has decided to go after the rapper for his comments.
Speaking to RadarOnline.com in the wake of the late-night interview, Allred said: “Mr. West made it clear that he thinks that he has the right to attack anyone that antagonizes him by asking him a question that he does not like. He thinks that paparazzi are fair game. “In his televised appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show he sent a message that anyone that crosses him is not safe and that no one should forget that he is from Chicago. We have a message to you Mr. West in response. You will be held accountable for your actions both in the criminal justice system and in the civil justice system. Your remarks are shameful and add further insult to the injuries that you inflicted upon my client.” She added: “You say that you bring ‘joy to the world’. I say you disgrace your profession and bring shame to your hometown of Chicago when you make reference to being from Chicago as some sort of threat.” (RadarOnline)
The photographer who was attacked has reportedly not stopped trying to harass Ye.
The photog Kanye West attacked at LAX is NOT willing to commit to staying away from the rapper, as the judge requested … TMZ has learned. TMZ broke the story … the judge in the criminal battery case told the prosecutor Monday to get in touch with the alleged victim — Daniel Ramos — and ask him to stay clear of Kanye and not provoke him. The judge also ordered Kanye to stay 10 yards away from Ramos. Kanye’s lawyer, Blair Berk, told the judge Ramos had been “stalking” and harassing Kanye in the past, and she had great concern he would continue doing it … and that appears to be why the judge asked the prosecutor to reach out to Ramos.
