Kanye West’s “Yeezus” Tour Stop Bombs in Kansas City

Posted By on December 5, 2013

Kanye West is on his “Yeezus” tour run, and his recent stop in Kansas City, Missouri didn’t have great attendance at all. The show only sold 4,500 tickets, which isn’t a lot for an artist with like Ye who was selling out arenas with his buddy Jay Z not long ago.

According to reports, the “Yeezus” tour stop in Kansas City did not have too many people in attendance to watch the massive production Ye and his team has put together.

“Kanye West’s troubled-plagued tour continues with the latest stop on the Yeezus extravaganza filling only 4,500 of the over 19,000 seats in the Kansas City Sprint Center. Kim Kardashian’s baby daddy has had to cancel multiple concerts on the tour for what he says are technical difficulties, and the Tuesday night show was a “thin turnout,” according to the Kansas City Star. “West almost certainly could have filled the Sprint Center five years ago,” the paper reported. “Tuesday’s poor attendance indicates how his scandalous love life, frequent impolite pronouncements and his gradual shift away from conventional hip-hop have alienated many of his fans.” (RadarOnline)

Kanye reportedly got so mad at his technical crew he stormed off stage during his Tampa, Florida stop.

West threw a tantrum during his Tampa, Fla. concert on November 30, stopping the show after only three songs, demanding the lights be turned off, spewing an expletive rant at his tech crew and storming off stage. However, in Kansas City West was more contrite and didn’t rant for too long, just talking to the audience for a mere eight minutes. “I don’t always say the right things at the right time,” he said. “I’m better at saying the wrong things at the wrong time.” (RadarOnline)
