After a lot of feedback, both positive and negative, Kanye has come forward to talk about his intentions and reviews for his new album "808s & Heartbreak" via his famous blog. "I've been hearing that there's people who bought this album that never bought one of my albums before," Kanye wrote. "I've been hearing that street n*ggas love it! Street n*ggas called me and told me they love it! You know girls love it! Everybody has a different favorite!!!!"
Kanye says he plans to release "Paranoid" [lyrics here] and "Robocop" [listen here] as singles soon, explaining his marketing strategy saying "I'm gonna walk this album slow like a more independent approach. I feel like a new artist…It reminds me of the first album when everybody said I couldn't rap."
After saying "certain records" interfered with the potential of his last album "Graduation," Kanye thinks he might have avoided it if people would just take time to listen saying "This is new music! It might take some getting used to but when it sets in it will make all the difference."
