Kanye West To Headline Worlds Biggest Running Event

Kanye West is currently finishing up his "Glow In The Dark" tour with fellow artists N*E*R*D, Lupe Fiasco, and Rihanna. He recently played a festival called Bonnaroo and Hot 97’s Summer Jam. Now Kanye has been announced as the headliner for the "world's biggest one-day running event" called the Nike + Human Race in Los Angeles on August 31st.
"I'm hitting the stage in Los Angeles for the Nike + Human Race, Nike's dopest 10k run ever," he said in the statement. "This race is bringing together hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world to run and listen to some great music while serving a higher cause, and I'm excited to perform in LA as part of the grand finale."
The one day event will happen in 25 cities, including Paris where former Destiny Child member Kelly Rowland will perform. Next up for Kanye is a scheduled performance at the 2008 BET Awards on June 24th.
