Rapper slash producer Lil Jon will soon appear in the upcoming season of Donald Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice" television show. Beyond problems with the IRS for owing back taxes, Jon says that he also is dealing with people not taking him seriously.
“People think, ‘Oh, I don’t need to worry about him,’ and they underestimate me because I am a rapper,” Jon said. “They’re not realizing I have a vast knowledge in all types of business and I am a real threat.” (popeater)
The IRS filed a $638,937 lien against the crunk master on June 24, 2008 with the Charleston County, South Carolina Recorder. Incidentally, this season of Celebrity Apprentice features a tax deadbeat hall of fame. Aside from Lil Jon, other Celebrity Apprentice contestants with tax issues include Star Jones, LaToya Jackson, Gary Busey, Dionne Warwick and Jose Canseco. (XXL)
