In a recent report it was revealed that Lil Scrappy had been arrested after a warrant was issued based on issues he had with a particular drug test. According to resources, new information has been released that reveals that the rapper has been released from Jail and the warrant that was issued was recalled because it was invalid
This all started when Lil Scrappy allegedly submitted a suspicious urine sample and refused to submit another when that one was questioned. After refusing to submit the sample he left the premises and subsequently a warrant was issued for his arrest. The warrant was issued on the bases of a probation violation that stemmed from a 2008 marijuana possession case.
In March, when the rapper was order to submit a urine sample, and the sample was cold and that raised the suspicion of the officers, so they asked that he submit another sample and the rapper refused and left. Based on that information, a warrant was issued for his arrest. He turned himself in shortly thereafter.
According to a report from TMZ, the rapper said that the warrant that was issued for his arrest was invalid because he did not submit a bad sample initially. At his initial hearing, a motion filed by the rapper’s attorney to recall the warrant was granted.
