The latest in a long list of legal battles for Lil Wayne has been settled out of court. The law suit by Red City Entertainment against Wayne has been reportedly settled out of court for an undisclosed amount of money.
According to TMZ, a law suit filed by attorneys representing Red City Entertainment against Young Money Rapper Lil Wayne, has been squashed outside of the court and the case has been dismissed. The original complaint alleged that Lil Wayne slept through what was scheduled to be an appearance and performance at a concert in the Bahamas in 2009.
Red City Entertainment reportedly paid Lil Wayne $432,000 which was supposed to be for an appearance fee to show up at the concert. Lil Wayne supposedly overslept. Legal documents that were obtained by TMZ reveal that the case was settled out of court on January 8th of this year and the case was officially dismissed. The particular details of the settlement between Lil Wayne and Red City Entertainment have not been release at this time.
Lil Wayne’s legal issues with Red City Entertainment is just the latest in a continuum of legal cases that involve the Young Money Emcee, the most recent trouble prior to this situation being a law suit that Lil Wayne lost to Quincy Jones III concerning The Carter documentary, which was disposed of last year.
