Lil Wayne has decided to make Young Money a family endeavor as he signs his 14 year old daughter Reginae Carter to the Young Money Family
In an interview with Rap-Up.com, Young Money President, Mack Mane, confirmed that in addition to signing artists PJ Morton, Torion Sellers and We The Future to the Young Money Imprint, the label has also signed Lil Wayne’s daughter, Reginae as well. Mack goes on to speak of his anticipation of the grand success that Reginae will have as a performer, speaking of her entertainment pedigree.
“Wayne’s daughter, Reginae, is actually signed to Young Money now,” he said. “Just expect greatness. She’s Toya [Wright's] daughter and Wayne’s daughter, so that’s a great combination. She’s a star, put it like that. A megastar.”
Reginae is a former member of the group OMG Girlz, a girl group that was conceptionalized and formed by Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and Kiesha Miles in 2009. Reginae recently celebrated her 14th birthday in November, where she had a skate party at which her father, Lauren London and Nivea attended.
Lil Wayne is in the midst of the final preparations to release his latest album “I Am Not A Human Being” which is scheduled to be released on March 26th of this year.
Lil Wayne is also currently feeling a lot of heat [read article] based on some lyrics he dropped on “Future’s” song “karate Chop”. The lyrics referenced Emmett Till in a negative manner and it set off a fire storm of controversy.
