Lil Wayne Jokes On Kimmel, Drug Charges Dropped

    Lil Wayne already rules the charts, now he's taking over the courts. Yesterday a Superior Court judge granted Wayne's request to suppress the evidence for his 2006 felony drug charge in Georgia, and as a result the charges were dropped. Weezy was originally arrested after Atlanta police said they found bottles of hydrocodone and xanax plus marijuana in a hotel room but Lil Wayne's lawyer proved the room wasn't even his.

    Not everything is great in the world of Lil Wayne legal problems. Recently a New York City judge ruled a handgun found on Weezy's tour bus can be used as evidence at his trial. Justice Charles Solomon set a date of April 20th for the next court date.

    In related news, Lil Wayne was on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to promote his new "Prom Queen" [watch here] video and upcoming rock album. Besides his interview with Kimmel, Weezy played scrabble with ABC 'World News' host Charles Gibson [watch here] and even played a "Charles Gibson Or Lil Wayne" trivia game with the audience [watch here].
