With the delay of Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV album, many fans are eager to hear any details on what to expect on the rap superstars new album, and fellow Young Money artist Lil Twist has let fans in on a few new details on what’s in store for them on what is possibly the most anticipated album of the year, and hints that the song “Flowers” which features Twist himself could possibly appear on a mixtape soon:

“It’s amazing, it’s great, it’s outstanding,” Twist said of the project, which Wayne is releasing to appease fans since his proper album, Tha Carter IV, has been delayed numerous times. “And, he’s rapping. He’s going in and y’all are gonna love it.” Twist revealed he’s also heard all of Weezy’s album, now scheduled to drop August 29. “I’ve heard it all,” Twist said. “Yes, we’re in the studio every day, every night, till the morning, till sun up in Miami, so I’ve heard it all.” Lil Twist himself will be rapping on one or both of Weezy’s forthcoming projects. He revealed the name of the song he appears on: “It’s called ‘Flowers.’ I can say it may make the mixtape, it may not. Because it’s for C4, and it’s also for Sorry For the Wait. It’ll make either one, maybe both.” (MTV)

As for the delay of the album, Wayne vented his frustrations at second rate beats:

“These n*ggas’ beats been sucking,” Wayne explained in an interview. “I’m putting it out there: You producing? What y’all doing? Get right, man. Step it up. This is coming from a rapper. One of the best rappers. I ain’t saying I’m the best no more, because these n*ggas is too good these days. I got old. But d*mn, y’all n*ggas’ beats is terrible! [Chad Ochocinco walks into the room] These n*ggas’ beats sound like Ochocino made them.” (XXL Magazine)

Tha Charter IV is now projected to be released on August 29th, and label mate Gudda Gudda thinks it will do as well as its predecessor “The Carter III”:

“I think it’s going to be big and I’m not just saying that because he’s my homie,” Gudda Gudda told SOHH when asked about the delayed project. “I’m just being honest. I think it’s going to be big and it can match up to what Tha Carter III did. The expectations are really big and it’s going to be really big for hip-hop when it finally comes out.” (SOHH)
