Lil Wayne And Rick Ross Top Nominates For Ozone Awards

    The Ozone Awards recently announced the nominations for this years ceremony and guess who is leading the pack? Lil Wayne got 8 Ozone nominations, although his album Tha Carter III did not get included in the best album category since it came out after the cut off date. Weezy was nominated for best rap artist, best rap group (with Baby), Club banger ("Lollipop"), mixtape monster, best video ("Lollipop") and Pimp C's Trillest Artist.

    Pimp C was also nominated 6 times along with Bun B including Best Rap Group, Best Rap Album, and Best Video. Bun B got nods for Best Lyricist, and Best Rap Artist. Pimp C was nominated posthumously for the TJ’s DJ’s Tastemaker Award, recognizing trendsetters in music, fashion, and style. Rick Ross got 5 nominates for the show that will be hosted by DeRay Davis and taking place on August 11th.
