Lil Wayne has decided to hold off on releaseing his new line of Champagne. Sources say Weezy didn't think it was save to release the "Halo" champagne due to the country's economy. As we previously reported, earlier this summer, Lil Wayne partnered with Milestone Brands and Voirin-Jumeh to create Halo Champagne and had a release set for the end of this year. At the time Weezy said “I’m excited about this venture with Milestone Brands,” continuing, “Champagne is for celebrating. There are so many different business opportunities…I want to take advantage of it all. I’m ready to put my foot in a new door.”
In related news, Weezy has been making headlines lately for missing scheduled concerts. The promoter of one of these shows in Rochester, New York says that the missed concert will be made up on December 6th at the same venue (Blue Cross Arena) which Weezy refused to play at because it had a bad sound system. Original tickets will be honored and refunds for the missed show will be available till December 14th.
