Lil Wayne's Hurricane Film Pushed Back

Lil Wayne's new "Hurricane Season" film is still on it's way to the big screen after it has been delayed multiple times and had budget difficulties. According to multiple reports, the new movie still doesn't have a release date. The Weinstein Company, who we previously reported had to release Young Jeezy & Ice Cube's "Janky Promoters" straight to DVD, is holding on to the film due to it's star and story power as the movie co-stars Bow Wow and Academy Award Winner Forest Whitaker. Although the Weinstein Company is holding on to the film, they still have yet to set a release date.

In related news, Lil Wayne previously talked about his co-star Forest Whitaker. "I just finished shooting a movie with Forest too," he said in an interview. "He's a very serious guy. I just spoke to him before he went out there, and he was like, 'You did good in the movie.' Then he goes out there and sings that. I'm like, 'Wow.' Everything was wonderful and just doing it in New Orleans, it being a true story and just contributing in any kind of way, it was great for me."
