On Monday (2/25), the New Orleans rapper and Hot Boy's Member, Lil Wayne appeared in a New York courtroom and entered a plea of "not guilty" at his arraignment for two weapons charges. Stacy Richman, Lil Wayne's attorney, told MTV News that Wayne was arraigned on two felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. These charges are from a July 22nd incident where Wayne was arrested after a show at the Beacon Theater in Manhattan. Police apparently approached Wayne's bus, that was parked on Columbus Avenue and 61st Street, and smelled marijuana and ended up searching the bus finding a .40 caliber pistol and he was taken into custody. Ja Rule was also arrested that night on similar charges after he performed with Wayne at the show.
