Lil Wayne is being sued by a California customizer who alleges Wayne did not pay for parts and services for a 1999 burgundy Bentley Arnage. Originating from the world-famous website thesmokinggun.com, who attained a copy of the suit, The Wall Street Group claims that Lil Wayne paid him $78,507 in 2006, ten months after the payment was initially due. The suit states that since the first payment was late, the rapper had broke the original contract, and made the dealer cancel the transaction altogether. The customizer then demanded additional payment to cover the cost of parts already ordered and the expense of shipping the vehicle back to Wayne.
Wayne first refused to pay the charges, and then finally entered into a new agreement with the plaintiff that would cover the cost of parts, shipment and storage of the vehicle. In the suit, the plaintiff asserts that the rapper has now broken the second agreement by not paying the storage fees of $79,200. The suit asks that the court award the plaintiff he $79,200 sum, including an additional $200 per day since Novermber 1, plus attorney fees.
