LiL Wayne Sued
Two Tampa Bay, Florida, concert promoters filed suit against Lil Wayne on Friday, claiming that he missed an October 29 show at a Tampa club and then refused to reschedule it. According to The Associated Press Nunoise Entertainment and Jahfari Promotions claim Wayne (real name Dwayne Carter), signed a contract in September to perform, then missed the event and returned a $15,000 deposit. The suit claims that he still owes the promoters $45,000 in damages for canceling the show on top of the $200,000 they are seeking in lost profits.
