The 2013 Grammy Awards Ceremony ended on an Old School Hip Hop Note. Public Enemy Master Mind, Chuck D, joined forces with LL Cool J, Tom Morello, DJ Z-Trip and Travis Barker to perform the Hip Hop Classic, “Welcome to the Terrordome” off of the 1990 Public Enemy Classic LP “Fear of a Black Planet”.
After that the crew rolled into a tribute to “No Sleep Till Brooklyn”, paying homage to the Beastie Boys. Those watching it via TV on the CBS Network were not able to enjoy it because they were rolling closing credits and final audio ads for Delta Airlines and Hilton Hotels over the broadcasts. But you can watch the performance below.
LL Cool J, who hosted this year’s Grammy Awards Ceremony, is preparing to release his 13th Album later this year. This much anticipated album from the G.O.A.T. is entitled “Authentic”.
