Lloyd Banks Charged With Assault & Robbery

Lloyd Banks is stuck in Canada, and it's not some border officials problem. The Police are holding the G-Unit rapper on assault and robbery charges after authorities say Banks (and three other people) assaulted the promoter of a performance by Banks at Club NV in Blandford, Ontario Canada. Police say that Lloyd and his boys got into the altercation with the promoter at a local hotel over the payment for the show. They say that Banks and the other three guys held him in his hotel room against the wall and beat him up before robbing him. All four men were charged with forceful confinement, aggravated assault and robbery. The four made a video court appearance on Sunday afternoon (January 10) and are due to appear in court again early this week. They remained in police custody at press time.     Chris Hines, the promoter who Lloyd Banks allegedly assaulted recently came forward to talk about what he says happened. "It was at Blanford, Ontario, [I was just the booking agent,] correct," Hines said in an interview. "There's a little more to the story, like I said, I don't want to get in to it too much. But the most accurate story of all of them is on MTV which has got put up right now. MTV.com, that's the most accurate of all stories. But he was paid in advance. We got into a confrontation of course, they assaulted me and kept me there for a little while. It was probably like for 20 minutes, 30 minutes. They had me there for quite some time. But so far, the things I'm seeing online, the most accurate is on MTV. Like, I worked for the guys for years and I don't really know what the f*ck they were thinking, if they were watching a movie earlier I don't know what that's about. The whole incident that night had nothing to do with me and everybody knows that." [Alleged Victim Of Lloyd Banks Speaks Out - Watch Here]
