Disturbin the Peace leader Ludacris gave to fans an update on his highly anticipated upcoming solo album “Ludaversal” and what they can expect.
“I traveled the world over the last two years, I got to see a lot of things and had a lot of experiences,” he says. “That’s what Ludaversal is all about. Really kind of being vulnerable and letting you into my life … People are definitely going to understand a lot more about the personal side of Chris Bridges when they hear this album.” (Forbes)
“This album Ludaversal, it’s all about progression. We’re taking it to heights that you never, ever seen before,” the Atlanta MC told MTV News earlier this month at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Tennessee. It’s been two years since Luda dropped Battle of the Sexes, and the rapper/actor aims to catch his fans up on all of his goings-on. “I’ve had seven albums, so right now it’s about trying to go places that I haven’t been. I’ve traveled over the world for the past year and I brought a lot of experiences back with me and put ’em in the music,” he said. “I’ve had a lot of personal experiences, so you’re going to get to know the real me and things that have been going on over the past three or four years.” (RapFix)
The original release date was set for September 11th but after the reception from Jingalin was less then spectacular the album was pushed back to a now unknown release date, but should be out before 2012 is over.
