Ludacris, Akon & Young Jeezy to Perform at Summer Jam

New York radio station Hot 97 recently announced that Ludacris, Akon and Young Jeezy are among the acts set to perform this year's annual Summer Jam concert.

The event, which will be sponsored by Boost Mobile, will take place at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ on June 3. Chris Brown, Birdman & Lil Wayne, Diddy, Keyshia Cole, Elephant Man, Ne-Yo, Ciara, MIMS, Swizz Beatz, Rich Boy and T-Pain are also slated to take the stage. Additional performers are expected to be added to the lineup in the coming weeks.

"The success of Hot 97 Summer Jam over the past few years speaks to the power of music and its influence on youth popular culture," said Daryl Butler, Boost Mobile's Director of Strategic Alliances via a statement. "Boost is committed to providing our audience with the best experiences possible and Hot 97 Summer Jam is definitely one of those experiences."

Last year's summer jam included performances from Busta Rhymes, Remy Ma, The Diplomats, Jamie Foxx and Dem Franchise Boyz, among others.

Tickets for HOT 97 Summer Jam 2007 go on sale today (April 27) and can be obtained at Ticket Master outlets or via ticketmaster.com
