Missy Elliot is trying to recruit ten female ambassadors for her urban themed street wear brand Respect M.E. Missy renewed her partnership with Adidas Originals today (3/20) and they marked the occasion by launching the Respect M.E. talent competition "Stand Up Be Seen," which will start this month. The competition will not only be held in the United States, but all across the world in such countries as Argentina, China, Japan, Korea, Europe, Germany, France, UK, Italy, Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Switzerland. Ten winners will be featured in the 2008 Fall/Winter Respect M.E. advertising campaign, and five of the ten will continue on to be the faces of the line, starting in the Spring and Summer of 2009. The five ambassadors will be flown across the world to be shot by international photographers, and you can be one of them.
