Good Hip Hop Meets Radio

ORLANDO, FL — (February 18, 2010) – With 14 original songs all written and produced by Prote-J, “Good Hip Hop Meets Radio” hits the net next week and shows you can make radio friendly hip hop with wordplay and content. Prote-J’s extremely uncommon story is what makes him like no other artist the music industry has ever seen. He is a rapper/producer/songwriter that taught himself to play the drums, bass, guitar, and piano. He was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in 3rd world country, Papua New Guinea, before migrating to Central Florida. Prote-J then went on to graduate high school and earn a bachelor’s degree from an aeronautical university.

Prote-J describes “Good Hip Hop Meets Radio” as “the ultimate mix of great production, great lyrical content and catchy hooks. People will love this album because I managed to successfully create music for the masses without sacrificing quality.” Prote-J expands, saying, “Even though no two tracks sound the same, they all still fit into my brand of good hip hop. They all have hot beats, content, and lyricism, but they are just executed differently. The album opens up with “Here I’m Alone,” a chorus-less, tone setting track where Prote-J welcomes you to “the bridge between real hip hop and the commercial scene.” Other must hears on the album are “Foreign” and “Let’s Go.” On “Foreign,” Prote-J shows raw rapping ability over a bass heavy, Indian vocal sampled beat. While the sexy “Let’s Go” is sure to be a female favorite with it’s addictive R&B hook and charming lyrics.
