Mobb Deep front man, Prodigy, is supposed to be in prison on a 3 and 1/2 year sentence for a weapons conviction but just in time a judge granted him an extra five weeks of freedom. The New York Daily News is reporting that a Manhattan Supreme Court Justice postponed Prodigys sentencing so that doctors could collect his medical records. Prodigy's attorney told the court that his client had been in and out of hospitals his entire life because he has suffered from the blood disease sickle cell anemia and the judge agreed to place him in a facility with ccess to medical personnel.
